Our new online live training series on Qualitative Coding Basics for Impact Tracking starting February 12, 2025 will cover the best practices for approaching coding and analysis of surveys, interviews, reports, and stories in a systematic way!
Facilitated live by our founder and CEO Alexandra Pittman, PhD, the series are ideal for researchers, evaluators, program managers, and professionals seeking to elevate their ability to derive meaningful insights from complex textual data and develop compelling narrative evidence.

In this training series, you will:
- Develop qualitative analysis skills and coding techniques, enhancing your ability to systematically analyze and interpret qualitative data. This skill is crucial for rigorous impact tracking and research methodologies
- Strengthen your analytical lens. The course provides practical exercises that will help you develop a more nuanced and structured approach to qualitative data analysis. You will learn how to look at data more critically and systematically.

- Deepen your professional development: By learning qualitative coding basics, will enhance your research and evaluation skills, providing valuable skills to you and your organization, as well enhancing your professional skills.
- Gain practical experience coding your own data and getting feedback from the trainer. You can bring your own data into the training and start coding information setting your organization on a path to using the rich qualitative data that you are collecting.
All sessions will be recorded and materials will be sent to participants in case you are not able to make a session, you will still have access to all of the resources. Participants will receive a certificate upon completion of the entire training series.

Her expertise spans diverse areas, including monitoring, evaluation, and learning, impact management, participatory methodology, storytelling methodology, gender equity, social justice, tech for good, philanthropy and impact investing, social enterprise creation, and responsible AI.
Beyond the digital realm, Alexandra extends her commitment to sustainability, social justice, and wellness principles. This passion led to the creation of Havn Hus, a retreat center nestled in the Norwegian fjords. This physical space weaves together important philosophical strands, bringing together inner and outer wellness and alignment for our planet and people.
